GemmaDB is a system to analyze, store, and integrate clinical, genetic, laboratory, and other omics datasets for internal use at the Centre for Chronic Immunodeficiency in Freiburg.

Integrated clinical and omics data management

GemmaDB supports translational workflows where patient-centered metadata, sequencing outputs, and laboratory measurements must be queried together. The platform is used as an internal resource to improve consistency, traceability, and reuse of high-value immunology datasets.

Patient-centric records
Clinical and molecular observations can be connected to the same subject profile for longitudinal analysis.
Multi-omics integration
Genetic and omics layers are organized for cross-modal interrogation in rare and complex immune disorders.
Structured analysis support
Standardized metadata and reusable schemas simplify quality checks and downstream interpretation.

Internal research platform

GemmaDB is maintained as an internal platform for immunodeficiency-focused research activities in Freiburg. Access and data governance follow institutional policies and study-specific constraints.
